European Mobility Week: more relevant than ever
European Mobility Week is an annual event held across Europe from 16 to 22 September. It aims to encourage people to opt for more sustainable and environmentally friendly forms of transport. Each year, the European Commission chooses a central theme, and for 2023, the focus is “Energy Efficiency” under the slogan “Combine and move!”. Spain leader in participation
As stated by the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, “Spain, for many years, has been leading participation in the European Mobility Week”. Last year, of the 2,989 European municipalities that participated, 489 of them were Spanish, and 2,092 of these municipalities carried out permanent measures.
