The quality warranty of Ossby bicycles entitles you to repair any possible defect in the bicycle, including spare parts and labor, for a period of 3 years from the date of purchase (as stipulated by Spanish law in Royal Decree-law 7/2021 of the Official State Gazette).

Ossby offers a warranty for a period of 3 years* from the date of purchase of the bicycle or e-bike, as well as for electronic components (motor, charger, Bluetooth devices), and accessories.

  • To exercise your warranty rights, it will be essential to have a valid proof of purchase.
  • The warranty will come into effect from the date of purchase and will apply only to the original owner; therefore, it is non-transferable.
  • This warranty applies only to Ossby bicycles purchased through their website www.ossby.com and to all those purchased at any of the points of the authorized distributor network or authorized stores.
  • The warranty does not cover deficiencies resulting from misuse, negligence, impacts, improper handling, or any cause of force majeure or external to its normal and proper use.
  • Ossby bicycles are manufactured to be used in cities, roads, and well-maintained paths.
  • The warranty does not cover possible paint, chrome, or general finish damage caused by exposure to or contact with corrosive agents. Damages caused by the installation of parts or accessories not originally designed by Ossby are also not covered.
  • Excluded from this warranty are installation, adjustment, tuning, cleaning, etc., as well as the replacement of parts that, by their very nature, are subject to wear and tear due to normal use and/or operation, such as tubes, tires, brakes, gears, chainrings, chainrings, bottom bracket set, sprockets, spokes, grips, etc. to the extent that they do not present defects in material or assembly.

FRAME COMPOSITE WARRANTY*

In the case of the composite frame of the Ossby GEO folding electric bike, its warranty can be extended for four (4) more years if the buyer validates or registers the warranty of the bike on the official Ossby website (go to the form). In this case, the composite frame of the bicycle would have a total of 7 years of warranty.

In the event that it is necessary to replace the frame, we will replace it in the original colour provided availability exists. If any colour were out of stock due to lack of availability, we will immediately contact the customer to inform them of the issue and propose a change to another colour.

BATTERY*

La batería cuenta con 1 año de garantía¹, debido a su consideración como consumible (un componente susceptible de degradación).

¹ The loss of battery autonomy, as a result of its use or passage of time, is not a manufacturing defect. It is a behavior inherent to the properties of lithium. Therefore, the warranty will only apply if the loss of autonomy is less than 70%. If the user/point of sale requires Ossby to perform a battery autonomy test, and the report generated by such test shows a result equal to or greater than 70%, the former must bear the costs generated by the performance of said test, as well as the shipping costs derived, if applicable.

WARRANTY CANCELLATION

The warranty is voided in the following cases:

  • The Ossby bicycle has been damaged due to use in championships, competitions, jumps, descents, acrobatics, or sports tests.
  • The bicycle has been used inappropriately or in any other way than usual, considering its urban use.
  • When the bicycle has been exposed – or used – in extreme conditions or climates.
  • The bicycle has been involved in an accident.
  • The bicycle was not repaired following the user manual instructions or the technical support instructions.
  • The bicycle has been tampered with, repaired, or its maintenance was carried out by a distributor not authorized by the manufacturer.
  • The bicycle has been repaired or assembled with non-original parts.
  • The original owner has transferred the bicycle to a third party.

EXERCISING YOUR FACTORY WARRANTY RIGHT

· For purchases made through our online store:

First of all, you must have registered and validated the warranty on the official Ossby website: www.ossby.com/garantia Once the warranty validation form has been submitted, you must contact Ossby through the technical support contact form. Explain what the problem is, how it occurred, and attach images of the damaged area or problem to facilitate analysis. Upon receiving the form, an initial assessment will be made, and if necessary, the bicycle will be collected for a second assessment, with Ossby covering the shipping costs initially. If it is damage or repair covered by the warranty, the bicycle will be repaired at no additional cost. In the opposite case, that is, once the fault has been verified, it is concluded that it is not due to defects in the quality of the product; The costs, both collection and shipping and repair, will be borne by the customer.

· For purchases through marketplaces or a network of retailers:

First of all, you must have registered and validated the warranty on the official Ossby website: www.ossby.com/garantia

You will then need to contact customer service or the technical service of the store where you purchased the bike. The store, distributor or marketplace will give you an answer.

REGISTER OSSBY WARRANTY

Enter the required data in the form found on this page. and we will register you in our warranty system, in order to assist you as best as possible in case you need to use it. Remember to keep the receipt or purchase email as proof.

To validate the warranty of your Ossby bike, you will need the serial number, which you can find under the bottom bracket (central cylinder of the bike where the cranks and pedals are joined).

The format of the serial number consists of OSS + 7 digits.
