2023: A new era for Ossby

At Ossby, we are experiencing an exciting transformation process driven by the launch of our new folding e-bike model, Ossby GEO.

Our new version of folding electric bike has a more modern and technological look; Therefore, it was essential to redesign our visual identity; Let’s go… Do a complete rebranding.

Ossby's new visual identity

From the moment we embarked on the exciting adventure of creating the GEO, it was clear to us that our logo and other elements needed a drastic change. After more than 10 years, it was the perfect time to adopt a new style and convey our essence more strongly. The new design completely reformulates our brand identity, renewing it and giving an even deeper meaning to the minimalist and innovative style that characterizes Ossby.

The logo and the symbol

The new Ossby logo is the result of careful thought and hard design work. Our new emblem is committed to solidity, minimalism and simplicity. It has completely left behind the previous, more traditional image to focus on simplicity and ease of identification, as well as its adaptability to different applications.

To carry out this redesign, we had the art director José Blancat. Jose developed his professional career in large international agencies, as well as in technology giants such as Meta and Amazon.

After several months, working side by side, we came up with a logo and a symbol that breathed the same Ossby values: design, minimalism and technology.

The new emblem is a comprehensive reformulation, by shedding all the previous elements. Now, we’re introducing geometry and a much more robust, sans-serif typeface to emphasize dynamism.

The “O” becomes the symbol of the brand. In it, you play with a small section separated from the main body in a different color, adding a distinctive and fun touch to the whole. Our symbol It’s a nod to the rear wheel of our folding bike, coinciding with the segments of the rear fork intersection. Curious little details that we love to share 🙂

The new corporate colors and palette

In addition to the revamp of our logo, we have worked on updating all the corporate colors that represent Ossby. The colors chosen reflect our avant-garde personality and are inspired by technology and modernity. Now, our visual identity sports a neutral and soft secondary color palette that conveys the sense of innovation and quality that we have always sought.

In contrast to the secondary colors, Ossby’s new main color emerges: Raspberry. This color between magenta, fuchsia and red is a vibrant color full of energy, ideal to convey the urban, young and dynamic spirit of our brand.

New typography

Its geometric and clean shapes perfectly reflect our vision of avant-garde design.

The typographic selection of the logo is simple and legible, to connect with the strengths of our brand, focused on practicality, lightness and innovation. It is also a typeface free of any embellishment, to better integrate into applications and digital ecosystem.

On the other hand, we have relied on the Poppins font family for the development of all the other systems, i.e. for headlines, subtitles and body text.

Poppins is a modern and versatile font that conveys elegance and clarity in every stroke. With this typography we have managed to establish visual coherence in all our materials, from print to text on our new website. This typographic consistency reinforces Ossby’s identity and creates a strong and cohesive brand experience for our users.

New website

But we’ve not only transformed our visual identity, we’ve also taken a giant leap forward in our online presence. We have created a completely revamped new website, designed to provide our visitors with a unique and exciting experience. For its development, we took into account all aspects, from design to navigation, to immerse users in the fascinating world of Ossby in an intuitive and engaging way. A great job done in collaboration between our team and the agency Brand Dawson and our graphic designer Héctor Lorenzo.

In short, this year marks the beginning of a new era for Ossby, where our minimalist and innovative style is combined with a fresh and modern image.
