In Ossby we are celebrating HAPPY WORLD BICYCLE DAY!

Why is World Bicycle Day celebrated?

In April 2018, the United Nations General Assembly declared June 3 as the
#DíaMundialdelaBicicleta

A recognition for the uniqueness, longevity and versatility of the bicycle, which has been in use for two centuries, and which constitutes a means of transport:

🌱 sustainable

⚙️ simple

🙂 affordable

👌 reliable

🍃 clean and

🌍 ecological that contributes to environmental management and benefits health, both physical and mental.

In addition, bicycle use is directly related to at least 11 of the 17
SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) set by the UN

What are we doing in Ossby to commemorate this day?

We have launched our campaign “OSSBY RESPIRA” with a clear purpose:

Save 350 tons of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere.

Currently, pollution causes nine million premature deaths a year, more than the sum of the deaths that occurred in 2019 due to war, terrorism, AIDS, tuberculosis, malaria and drug use. According to a new

Our mission is to help people move sustainably and intelligently to achieve cleaner cities, with fewer cars and less pollution.

To do this, we have adjusted every nut of our production process and we have optimized the manufacturing to democratize the use of quality folding bicycles with very attractive prices.

Are there really so many cars needed in cities?

We firmly believe not, and we rely on the data:

✅ 30% of the routes made by car are less than 3 kilometers; and 50%, less than 5 kilometers.

👉 3 km by bike are done in 10 minutes

👉 3 km by bike has a total of 0% emissions and 100% happiness.

We want more Ossby folding bikes to roll around the city!
